The PMG Group invests 12 million euros in building a 5,000-square-meter plant in Shanghai. The new site has already received a number of orders from existing PMG customers from other continents.

The newly founded subsidiary, PMG Shanghai Fengxian Co. Ltd, will manufacture powder metallurgically produced components for motors and chassis. Michael Krehl, Co-President of the PMG Group, explains the importance of the investment:”Our customers are important players in the growing Chinese automotive industry. By supplying them with locally manufactured PM part, we will help them to be more successful.”

Once the first construction phase is finished, the plant should achieve annual sales of 12 million euros, and will employ over 100 people. Michael Krehl:”In the second phase we will quickly increase production capacities – provided a favorable market development.”
